THE BIG REVEAL
Sunday • March 10 • 2019
The Kick-off Party is the initial meet-and-greet for Survivors and artists. It educates and prepares participants for Paint Day events and includes a live body painting demonstration.
Survivors meet artists and exchange ideas about the upcoming body painting experience and brainstorm the best way to visually express each survivor’s cancer journey.
It’s an amazing day filled with nourishment for the mind, soul and body. Paint Day is all about our Survivor Models. We create an environment where they can be comfortable and relax, indulge in food and drink and perhaps even a foot massage, then the work begins! When the art is finished, volunteer photographers capture the images that are eventually printed on canvas and turned into one-of-a-kind original art displayed at The Big Reveal fund raising event.
An amazing event complete with music, food, drinks, community connection and art where we celebrate Survivors and provide a forum where they can share their stories.
There’s a raffle for fabulous prizes and we showcase and sell Survivor body paintings. New in 2019 is a “Treasure Chest” filled with jewelry, art, leather goods, watches and more, and one lucky winner will take it all home, knowing they helped fund research to find a cure for breast and ovarian cancer.
